1. After cleaning and inspecting the parts reassemble the pump starting with the reservoir by doing the following
a. Lubricate the new O-ring (8) with power steering fluid then attach the O-ring seal (8) to the reservoir (2).
b. Mount the reservoir assembly (2) to the housing (10).
c. Attach the retaining clips (3) and (5) to the reservoir (2) and the housing (10).
2. Assemble the control valve by putting the flow control spring (12) back into the control valve assembly (13) then lubricate the new O-ring (32)
with power steering fluid and put the O-ring (15) on fitting (16) then attach the fitting (16) into hydraulic pump housing assembly (10) tightening
the fitting to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.).
