FOG LIGHT (ONE) NOT WORKING

The fog lights are controlled by the Body Computer Node via a relay located in the Engine Compartment Junction Unit.

The lights can be switched on/off by the button on the Exterior Lights Control.

1FOG LIGHT BULB CONDITION CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Remove the lower shield and check the condition of the fog light bulbsMove on to StepBulbs faulty

Replace the bulbs

See in Op. 5540D14 Left or right fog light BULB (one) - R.R.

2ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Check the continuity of the electrical connection between the front bumper connection and the fog light bulbs

Move on to StepConnection broken

Restore the electrical connection

3ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Remove the right front wheel arch and check the continuity of the electricl connection between:

  • Engine Compartment Junction Unit and front bumper connection

  • Front bumper connection and right front earth

Move on to StepConnection broken

Restore the electrical connection

4CHECK ON ENGINE COMPARTMENT JUNCTION UNIT INTERNAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEMALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION

Check the internal continuity of the engine compartment junction unit (power circuit)

Move on to StepOpen circuit for connection in engine compartment junction unit

Replace the engine compartment junction unit

5CHECK ON CORRECT OPERATIONALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check that the fault is no longer present
