Network behaviour standards towards the Customer

  • When this problem is reported and confirmed, reassure the Customer that it can be solved by sealing/sticking a special plug in the floor panel.
  • After the operation, show the Customer the work that has been done and make sure that they are satisfied.

Service Solution:If this problem is reported and confirmed, stick the plugs in the 'service openings' using silicon adhesive following the instructions in the operating cycle below.

OPERATING CYCLE

  • Raise the vehicle on a lift;
  • Remove the plug in the service opening (1 - Fig. 1) (if fitted) in the floor panel front box section;
  • Thoroughly clean and degrease both the plug and the service opening using heptane;
  • Apply a bead of silicon sealant about 6 mm in diameter to the perimeter of the service opening;
  • Fit the plug in the 'service opening' and exert pressure on it to make sure that it is correctly fitted;
  • Repeat the procedure for the service opening on the other side
