8. Check security of battery carrier clamps and positive battery terminal. Using a volt meter, ensure battery voltage exceeds 12.5 volts before connecting Testbook/T4. If voltage is below this figure recharge battery. NOTE: The voltage check must be carried out before connecting Testbook/T4. Failure to do this may result in vehicle configuration failure.
9. If BBUS multiplug is disconnected, remove nut securing sounder to support bracket.

10. Connect multiplug to BBUS.
11. Fit nut to BBUS and tighten to 10 Nm (7 lbf.ft).

12. Visually check brake fluid level is at the 'MAX' mark on brake reservoir. Investigate the cause if brake fluid level is low.

13. Remove filler cap, check and top up windscreen, headlamp and rear washer reservoir with diluted Land Rover screen wash fluid. Refit the cap.

14. Connect earth lead to negative battery terminal and tighten bolt to 10 Nm (7 lbf.ft).
