  1. Disconnect 2 Lucars from fuel tank sender unit.
  2. Release clip and disconnect fuel feed hose, identified by orange coloured band.
  3. Release clip and disconnect fuel return hose.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

  1. Remove bolt securing fuel tank retaining strap and move strap aside.
  2. Release tank from filler neck grommet.
  3. Manoeuvre fuel tank into boot space.
  4. Release clip and disconnect breather hose from pipe.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

  1. Disconnect multiplug from fuel pump.
  2. Remove fuel tank.

Do not carry out further dismantling if component is removed for access only.

  1. Release clip and disconnect breather hose from tank.
  2. Release breather pipe from clips.
  3. Remove nut securing breather valve to fuel tank and remove breather valve.

CAUTION: Plug the connections.

  1. Remove 6 nuts securing fuel pump to tank.
  2. Remove fuel pump and discard seal.
  3. Remove filler neck seal.
