SUNROOF GLASS HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

Service repair no - 76.84.82

Adjust

  1. Check that the glass weatherstrip is level with the roof panel to within 1.7 ± 0.5 mm around the entire circumference.

  1. If adjustment is necessary, open the sunshade.
  2. Loosen the screws and adjust the position of the glass.
  3. Repeat on opposite side if necessary.

NOTE: Apply liquid thread lock to the screws.

  1. Tighten screws to 3 Nm.

Adjust

  1. Open sunroof about 300 mm, then close to check where rear edge begins to rise. Rises too soon, tight against roof panel. Rises too late, away from roof panel.
  2. Remove headlining. See Interior trim components.
  3. Release sunroof motor from fitted position. See this section.

  1. Align fully closed position of glass bracket and cable slider, each side.
