Front Fog Lamps
Voltage is applied at all times to the front fog lamp relay via a W wire from fuse 33 of the engine compartment fuse box. Earth is provided by a B wire.
(Without Daytime Running Lamps) Voltage is applied to the lighting switch at all times via the R/G wire from fuse 20 of the engine compartment fuse box. When the lighting switch is rotated to the second or third position (SIDELAMPS or HEADLAMPS), voltage is applied on the R/B wires to the front fog lamp switch. If the front fog lamp switch is turned ON, the voltage from fuse 20 will then be applied to the front fog lamp relay via the R/Y wire. The front fog lamp relay energises and applies voltage to the front fog lamps via the U/R wires. Earth paths for the front fog lamps are on B wires.
(With Daytime Running Lamps) Voltage is applied to the lighting switch at all times via the R/G wire from fuse 20 of the engine compartment fuse box. When the lighting switch is rotated to the second or third position (SIDELAMPS or HEADLAMPS), voltage is applied via the R/B and B/6 wires to the daylight running unit. The daylight running unit is deenergised and voltage is applied via the B/5 and R/B wires, passenger compartment fuse box, R/B and B/8 wires, daylight running unit, B/7 and R/B wires to the Front Fog Lamp Switch. NOTE: The front fog lamps can only be turned on when the sidelamps or headlamps are also switched on.
