12. Remove 2 upper bolts securing compressor to mounting bracket.
13. Remove front beam. See FRONT SUSPENSION, Repairs.
14. Remove 2 lower bolts securing compressor to mounting bracket.
15. Remove compressor from beneath vehicle.
16. Prepare replacement compressor. See Service Precautions.

Refit

1. Position compressor to mounting bracket, fit 2 lower bolts and tighten to 45 Nm.
2. Fit front beam. See FRONT SUSPENSION, Repairs.
3. Fit compressor upper mounting bolts and tighten to 45 Nm.
4. Position pulley to PAS pump, fit and tighten Torx screws.
5. Remove blanking plugs from compressor.
6. Lubricate new ’O’ rings with refrigerant oil and fit to pipes.
7. Position pipes to compressor and secure with bolt; tighten bolt to 17 Nm.
8. Fit and tighten bolt securing air conditioning pipes to bonnet locking platform.
9. Connect multiplug to compressor.
10. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.
11. Disconnect battery earth lead.
12. Fit drive belt.See MAINTENANCE.
13. Fit NEW receiver drier. See this section.
14. Recharge air conditioning system. See Adjustments.
