  Note
t  Lubricate bearing positions and sliding surfaces.
t  Allocate grease using → Electronic parts catalogue (ETKA).
1 - Lower plate
q   Bend open tabs to remove
q   Always renew
2 - Seal
q   Always renew
3 - Retainer washer
q   Take care not to damage selector cables when removing.
q   Always renew
4 - Selection control cable
q   Lever off gate selector lever
q   Press onto gate selector lever inside selector mechanism
q   Installation position → Chapter
5 - Drift sleeve
6 - Gear selector cable
q   Lever off gear lever guide
q   Press onto gear lever guide inside selector mechanism
q   Installation position → Chapter
7 - Drift sleeve
8 - Retainer washer
q   Removing and installing → Fig.>>>>>>>>
9 - Drift sleeve
10 - Compression spring
11 - Bearing cap
q   Will be damaged during removal
q   Always renew
12 - Damper

Removing and installing securing clip
–  To remove or install lock washer -arrow A-, press spacer bush -arrow B- to stop -in direction of arrow C- using screwdriver.
  Note
t  Keep spacer bush straight while pushing down.
t  Slot in gear lever for securing clip must be visible.
t  Carefully release tension from spring.
