  WARNING
Before working on vehicle while engine is running, shift selector lever into position „P“ and apply handbrake.
   
1 - Selector lever handle
removing and fitting → Chapter
2 - Selector lever and selector mechanism with selector lever cable
q   Operate manual release mechanism → Chapter
q   removing and fitting → Chapter
q   Check and adjust the gear selector cable → Chapter.
q   Cable must not be greased
q   With integrated printed circuit for selector mechanism (selector lever - E313 -), do not touch
q   Incorporates Tiptronic switch -F189- and selector lever lock solenoid -N110 -. These components can be tested in the „Guided Fault Finding“ mode → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
q   The Tiptronic switch -F189- and selector lever lock solenoid -N110- can only be renewed together with the complete selector mechanism unit
3 - Bolt.
q   8 Nm
4 - Hexagon flange nut
q   8 Nm
q   4x
5 - Lever protection box
6 - Locking plate
q   Always renew after removing
7 - Locking plate
q   Always renew after removing
