Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-, see equivalent → Anchor
  L00-10226
t  Hose clamp -U-30042 -, see equivalent → Anchor
Detaching
–  Switch ignition OFF.
–  Remove engine cover → Booklet101.
–  Remove the air filter body, breather hose and air duct hoses → Rep. gr.24 and → Rep. gr.23 .

–  Clamp shut each of the transmission oil radiator hoses using the pressure tool - U-30042- and dismount from the radiator.

–  Undo the three bolts -A-.
–  The bolts must be replaced.
–  Remove the transmission oil radiator from the gearbox -B- with the two O rings -C-.
  WARNING
Coolant must not enter the gearbox!
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse order. The following must be taken into account:
–  Replace radiator O-rings.
–  Tighten the new bolts -A- with 20 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn).
–  Check the coolant level in the cooling system → Rep. gr.19.
–  Check the gear oil level and top up as necessary → Chapter.
