Valve stem seals: replace
   
Valve stem seals: replace
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Assembly tool -T20034B-
t  Extractor -T20058-
t  Fitting tool -T20039-
t  Pressure element -T20034B- Ø 35

Removing
(With the cylinder head in place)
–  Remove the camshaft → Chapter.
–  Extract the pushers and place them with the cam sliding surface downwards, trying not to swap them.
–  Take the piston of the respective cylinder to TDC.
   
–  Use the assembly device -T20034B-.
–  Remove the valve springs with the assembly lever -T20034B- and the pressure element -T20034B- Ø 35.
  Note!
The valves lie on the piston head.

–  Remove the seals of the valve stems using the tool -T20058-.
Fitting
  E15-0025
–  To avoid damage to the valve stem seals, fit the plastic sleeve on the valve stem (included with the spare).
–  Fit the new valve stem seal on the tool -T20039-.
–  Oil the sealing lip of the valve stem seal and carefully slide the seal over the valve guide.
