Air filter housing: removing and fitting
Air filter housing: removing and fitting
Removing
   
–  Press the tabs -arrows- and remove the air intake hose from the air intake duct.

–  Disconnect the hose -1- from the retention valve.
–  Pull the air filter housing up, removing it from the support pins -2-.
Fitting
Installation is performed in the reverse sequence. The following must be taken into account:
  Note
t  To attach the upper body of the air filter housing onto the lower one and the suction inlet, use a set of self threading screws. If these screws are loosened or tightened with a screwdriver, the thread of the upper body of the air filter may be damaged.
t  For this reason a power tool can only be used when:
t  Maximum speed of power tool: 200/min
t  Tightening torque is set to a maximum of 3 Nm.

–  Push the air filter from the top onto the support pins -2-.
–  Connect the hose -1- to the retention valve.

–  Fit the air intake hose on the air intake duct until the clips snap into place -arrows-.
