Transmission oil radiator: removing and installing
Consult the tool and equipment equivalence tables for Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque spanner kit -SAT 8010-, see equivalent → Anchor
  L00-10226
t  Pressure tool -U-30042-, see equivalent → Anchor
Transmission oil radiator: removing
–  Switch off ignition.
–  Remove engine cover → Booklet2.
–  Remove the air filter housing, the air hose and the conduit → Rep. Gr.24 and → Rep. Gr.23.

–  Clamp shut each of the transmission oil radiator hoses using the pressure tool -U-30042- and remove from the radiator .

–  Undo the three bolts -A-.
–  The bolts must be replaced.
–  Remove the transmission oil radiator from the gearbox -B- with the two O rings -C-.
  WARNING
Coolant must not enter the gearbox!
Transmission oil radiator: fitting
Install in reverse order. The following must be taken into account:
–  Replace radiator O-rings.
–  Tighten the new bolts -A- to 20 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn).
–  Check the coolant level in the cooling system → Rep. Gr.19.
–  Check the gear oil level and top up as necessary → Chapter.
