Bolts, nuts
t  Slacken bolts or nuts in reverse of tightening sequence.
t  If no tightening sequence is specified, nuts and bolts used to fix covers and casings should be tightened and loosened in stages and in diagonal pairs.
t  On particularly sensitive parts loosen and tighten bolts crosswise without canting part.
t  Specified torques given are for unlubricated nuts, bolts and screws.
t  Always renew self-locking nuts and bolts.
t  The threads of those bolts fitted using a fixing agent must be cleaned using a steel wire brush. Insert the screws with locking fluid and tighten. Allocation: → Spare Spare parts catalogue, ETKA.
t  Threaded holes where there had been self-locking bolts or bolts with thread fixing agent must first be cleaned (for example, with a threading male). Otherwise there is a danger of the bolts shearing off the next time they are removed.
