Replacing aerial cables
Replacing aerial cables
  Note
t  Aerial cables must not be repaired, but replaced with a new original part see → Electronic Catalogue of Original Parts; Accessories; Part group 35.
t  Aerial cables must not be bent to right angles or bent excessively! The bending radius must not be less than 50 mm.
–  Cut off contact connections of defective aerial cable.
The remainder of the defective aerial cable remains in the vehicle.
–  Lay the new aerial cable close to the original cable and attach.
–  Perform a functional test.
