  Note
t  Replace the gaskets and the self-locking nuts.
t  After performing installation work on the exhaust system, make sure the exhaust system is not mounted under tension and has adequate clearance from the vehicle body. If necessary slacken the clamping sleeves and align the silencer and exhaust pipe so as to create adequate clearance between these components and the vehicle body, and that the weight of the exhaust system is evenly distributed over the hangers.
