q   Drive in up to reverse side of housing contact surface until flush

4 - Ball sleeve
q   for 1st and 2nd gear shift rod
q   removing → Fig.

5 - Roller sleeve
q   for bearing of drive shaft in gearbox cover
q   always replace → Electronic Catalogue of Original Parts
q   removing → Fig.
q   installing → Fig.
q   after installing, secure by caulking → Fig.

   
Remove the ball sleeve from the gearbox cover
A - Countersupport, e.g. -Kukko 22/2-
B - Interior extractor 14.5...18.5 mm, e.g. -Kukko 21/2-
  Note
A stud screw M10 can also be used instead of the bolt -3282/29-.

Press the ball sleeve flush into the gearbox cover
–  Position ball sleeve with the lettered side (thicker end) towards rig drift -2064 (T30044)-. At the same time insert the small Ø of the rig drift -2064 (T30044) - in the ball sleeve.
–  Support gearbox cover below the bearing support with pressure plate -40-105 (MP3-467)-.

–  Press in ball sleeve for reverse gear sliding rod -1- and for 1st/2nd gear shift rod -2- to dimension -a- = 250.5 ± 0.5 mm.

Remove the roller sleeve from the gearbox cover
A - Countersupport, e.g. -Kukko 22/2-
B - Interior extractor 30...37 mm, e.g. -Kukko 21/4-
–  If present, remove caulking recesses.
  Note
Always replace roller sleeve after removing → Electronic Catalogue of Original Parts.

Carefully press new roller sleeve up to stop into gearbox cover
Support gearbox cover below bearing support with insertion tool -32-111( MP3-466)-.
–  After pressing in, secure roller sleeve by caulking in the gearbox cover → Fig..

Secure roller sleeve in gearbox cover by caulking
–  For caulking, use a blunt centre punch with ball-shaped end (5 mmØ ball).
–  The roller sleeve -1- is secured by 3 caulking markings, offset at circumference by 120° -arrows-.
Note position and Ø of caulking points:
t  Dimension -a- = 2 mm
t  Dimension -b- = 3 mm
