Wiring harnesses and cable channels which have to be loosened or removed during repair work should be reattached to the original location using original parts (cable ties, clips, cable channel holders etc.) from the "Service" area.  

Before disconnecting the vehicle battery in Vauxhall vehicles, disarm the Power-Sounder, : disconnect the battery within 15 seconds of switching off the ignition.  

When the work on the front doors is finished, check that the door foil (water vapour barrier) is undamaged and bonded without any interruptions in the edge area. Only undamaged and properly bonded door foil guarantees that the side airbag sensors function correctly.  

Replacement water vapour barrier foil may be obtained on rolls (1400 mm x 50 m) under Parts No. 90 510 299 / Catalogue No. 22 37 971 from the "Service" area. Adhesive tape Parts No. 90 241 170 / Catalogue No. 22 37 980 should be used to bond the water vapour barrier foil.
