Recommended Torque Values – Steering

Note:   Fastening bolts which are fitted using the torque and angle method (beyond the elastic limit) must not be re-used in Service after they have been released.

1 ) Use new fastening bolts and nuts
2 ) Clean thread on rack and coat with locking compound.
3 ) Clean thread and insert clamp bolt with locking compound.
