Replace airbag sensor (upper front) - passenger's side > < Replace side airbag sensor - L35 / L48 / L69 / L70

Replace airbag sensor (upper front) - driver's side

  Remove

1.   Disconnect battery
•   Detach plus and earth poles
2.   Wait 1 minute for airbag to deactivate
3.   Remove battery
•   Unscrew bolt
4.   Remove airbag sensor
•   Unscrew 2x bolt (1)
•   Separate wiring harness plug and remove sensor

  Install

5.   Install airbag sensor
•   Insert sensor and connect wiring harness plug
•   Tighten 2x bolt 6 Nm
6.   Install battery
•   Attach plus and earth poles
7.   Connect battery
•   Tighten the bolt
8.   Perform readiness check
9.   Program volatile memories
