Non-activated airbag driver's side, replace   Remove 1.   Note:   In vehicles with Open and Start, care must be taken that the steering column does not lock before the battery is disconnected 2.   Disconnect battery 3.   Wait 1 minute for airbag to deactivate 4.   Remove airbag •   Turn steering wheel 90° (I) •   Push retaining wire in direction of steering column using small screwdriver in service opening (II) and remove airbag module Note:   Ensure that the retaining wire is not bent •   Release and disconnect wiring harness plug   Install 5.   Install airbag •   Connect and latch wiring harness plug •   Clip in 2x clip 6.   Perform readiness check 7.   Connect battery 8.   Program volatile memories
