Replace side airbag sensor - L08 > < Replace airbag sensor (upper front) - passenger's side

Airbag control unit, replace

  Remove

1.   Disconnect battery
2.   Wait 1 minute for airbag to deactivate
3.   Detach central console
4.   Remove airbag control unit
•   Unscrew 3x nuts (1) and remove control unit
5.   Loosen airbag wiring harness
•   Release 2x wiring harness plugs and disconnect

  Install

6.   Fasten airbag wiring harness
•   Connect and latch wiring harness plug
7.   Install airbag control unit
•   Connect 2x wiring harness plugs
•   Tighten 3x nuts 10 Nm
8.   Install centre console
9.   Connect battery
10.   Program volatile memories
Note:   When replacing the control unit, after installing the control unit, program with TECH 2.
