Non-activated airbag passenger's side, replace   Remove 1.   Disconnect battery 2.   Wait 1 minute for airbag to deactivate 3.   Remove glove compartment •   Open glove compartment cover •   Unscrew 4x bolt (1) •   Disconnect wiring harness plug. •   Remove glove compartment 4.   Remove sill inner panelling •   Unclip 5x clip •   Remove sill inner panelling (1) 5.   Loosen instrument panel padding •   Unclip instrument panel padding cover, side – Unscrew bolt (1) •   Unscrew footwell screw (2) 6.   Detach airbag unit •   Unscrew 1x bolt (1) •   Release and disconnect wiring harness plug 7.   Remove airbag unit Note:   2nd mechanic required! •   Lift instrument panel padding on the right side •   Remove airbag unit from guide Note:   Always set aside airbag unit with padded side upwards   Install 8.   Insert airbag unit Note:   2nd mechanic required! •   Lift instrument panel padding on the right side •   Insert airbag unit in guide •   Connect and latch wiring harness plug 9.   Fasten airbag unit •   Tighten bolt 5 Nm 10.   Fasten instrument panel padding •   Tighten 2x bolts •   Clip in instrument panel padding cover, side 11.   Install sill inner panelling •   Clip in 5x clips 12.   Install glove compartment •   Connect wiring harness plug •   Insert glove compartment •   Tighten 4x bolt •   Close glove compartment cover 13.   Connect battery 14.   Perform readiness check 15.   Program volatile memories
