Replace airbag sensor (upper front) - driver's side > < Replace side airbag (not deployed) (front seat)

Replace side airbag sensor – L35 / L48 / L69 / L70

  Remove

1.   Disconnect battery
2.   Capacitor discharge waiting time 1 min.
3.   Move front seat as far forward as possible
4.   Remove rear sill inner panelling
•   Unclip 5x clip
•   Remove inner panelling sill upwards

5.   Remove side airbag sensor
•   Unscrew 2x bolt
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug.

  Install

6.   Install sensor
•   Connect wiring harness plug
•   Tighten 2x bolts
7.   Place driver's seat in previous position
8.   Install rear sill panelling
•   Clip in 5x clips
9.   Connect battery
10.   Readiness check for airbag system
Note:   After ignition ON, the airbag system readiness indicator illuminates for 4 seconds and then goes out
11.   Program volatile memories
