Install Parkpilot sensor in protective trim strip
(model L 08)
Install

| 1. |
Pilot drill a hole in left protective trim strip

Centre punch (arrow) inner marking
|
| • |
Drill through from inside outwards with drill ( 6 mm )
|
|
|
| 2. |
Pilot drill a hole in right protective trim strip
| • |
Centre punch inner marking
|
| • |
Drill through from inside outwards with drill ( 6 mm )
|
|
|
| 3. |
Pilot a hole in left protective trim strip
| • |
Drill hole inside outwards with boring bit of size 25.1 mm
|
| • |
Drill hole from outside in with boring bit of size 25.1 mm
Note: Check size of
hole with slide gauge!
Note: Lightly burr the
visible edge of the hole!

Drill a hole in the right trim strip
| • |
Drill hole inside outwards with boring bit of size 25.1 mm
|
| • |
Drill hole from outside in with boring bit of size 25.1 mm
Note: Check size of
hole with slide gauge!
Note: Lightly burr the
visible edge of the hole!

Clip in and position left Parkpilot sensor bracket in trim
strip
Note: Left Parkpilot
sensor bracket must be flush mounted with the trim strip!

Clip in and position right Parkpilot sensor bracket in right
trim strip
Note: Right Parkpilot
sensor bracket must be flush mounted with the right trim strip!

| 7. |
Weld Parkpilot sensor bracket with left trim strip
| • |
Bridge weld with appropriate tool (industrial heat gun)
|
|
|
| 8. |
Weld Parkpilot sensor bracket with right trim strip
| • |
Bridge weld with appropriate tool (industrial heat gun)
|
|
| 9. |
Install Parkpilot sensor in both trim strips
|
