Slide Block, Replace

Remove

Remove operating unit - see operation "Operating Unit, Replace".

Remove gutter - see operation "Gutter, Replace".

Unscrew crank drive from operating unit.

Pull plug from end of roof guide.

Pull guide part assembly from continuous roof guide.

Remove retaining ring from slide block and remove slide block from front guide connecting rod.

Install

Lightly grease sliding surfaces of slide block (Multi-Purpose Grease 19 47 204 - 90 001 791).

Insert slide block in front guide connecting rod and fix retaining ring.

Insert slide block in lower groove of roof guide.

Push guide part assembly into roof guide until lever catches in roof guide recess.

Push cable guide in until centre of guide bolt aligns with adjustment notch.

3     Adjustment notch

Place plug on end of roof guide.

Adjust crank drive - see operation "Crank Drive, Adjust" - and install.

Install gutter - see operation "Gutter, Replace".

Install operating unit - see operation "Operating Unit, Replace".
