Check compression > < Throttle Valve Module, Replace (Z 17 DTH, with AC, LHD)

Cooling System, Check for Leaks (Z 17 DTH, With Air Conditioning, LHD)

  Inspect

1.   Open bonnet
Warning:   Do not open coolant compensation tank cover until engine has cooled down
2.   Unscrew cover of coolant compensation tank
3.   Check coolant level.
•   Coolant compensation tank
Note:   To marking KALT/COLD – top up coolant if necessary
4.   Attach cooling system tester (2)
•   Use KM-471 (1)

5.   Apply pressure to cooling system
Note:   Apply approx. 100 kPa (1 bar) to cooling system
6.   Check cooling system for leaks
•   Check for leaks
7.   Detach cooling system tester
•   Release pressure
•   Remove KM-471
8.   Close cover of coolant compensation tank
9.   Close bonnet
