4 - Speed Automatic Transmission AR 25 / 35 F2: Trouble Code Table
Note: If three or more trouble codes are stored, this indicates a poor ground connection of the control unit. Therefore, check all ground connections between control unit and battery.
Before checking the data list, always ensure that the correct engine type is programmed in the transmission control unit. Several trouble codes can be set, because e. g. the shifting characteristic curves of the X 30 XE engine overload the values of the transmission control unit programmed for the X 20 SE.
If trouble code POWER CONTROL RELAY VOLTAGE LOW is set and trouble codes 17, 18, 29 and / or 35 have TC NOT PRESENT status, first check relevant solenoid valve for the fault.
