Front Fog Lamps, Adjust (Additional Lighting)

To adjust front fog lamps, vehicle must be standing on flat even ground at curb weight as legally specified. Check tyre pressures and adjust to prescribed value. Load one of the rear seats with one person or 70 kg.  

Curb weight is weight of vehicle when ready for operation with fuel tank full, including weight of all equipment usually carried in normal operation, such as spare wheel, tool kit, car jack and similar.  

Regulate fog lamp with adjusting screw (arrow) according to upper light/dark border with visual headlamp adjuster. The light/dark border runs horizontally along the adjustment line.  

The inclination of the front fog lamps is 20 cm in 10 m (corresponds to a light beam inclination of 2 %). Observe adjustment instructions issued by tester manufacturer.
