940 L4-2.3L SOHC VIN 88 B230F (1992)
Remove all drain hoses from base plate front and rear.
Note: The following work should be carried out by two persons.
Remove bracket from front edge.
Remove retaining screws (10) from base plate side mounts.
Lift out base plate over roof light wiring through:
- passenger side front door (4-door models).
- tailgate (5-door models).
Remove:
- sunroof front mounts.
- sunroof frame retaining screws from sides and front (8).
Lift off frame.
Remove sunroof headlining, replace If necessary.
Installation
Sunroof base plate and frame, installation (early production version)
Installation
Apply sealer to underside of frame (A) 1200 mm, along both rails.
Make sure that sealer is applied over frame at rear edge.
Apply sealer to front (B) 550 mm.
Apply sealer round front corners (C) 200 mm.
Diameter of strip of sealer should be 6 mm.
Place sunroof headlining on frame.
Note: Make sure that guide clips are correctly positioned on headlining.
Place frame in base plate.
