The date label is supplied with the new steering wheel airbag module.
CDA27. Final check
WARNING! Before connecting the battery make sure that nobody is inside the car.
After Installing all the parts, do the following:
Turn the ignition key to position II
Connect the battery negative lead.
Check that:
The steering wheel turns easily
The horn works by pressing on all four corners of the steering wheel airbag module.
NOTE: Check that the SRS warning lamp is not broken by turning the ignition key to position II. The SRS warning lamp should come on and
then go off after approximately 3 seconds.
Check that the SRS warning lamp in the combination instrument does not remain on. If the lamp remains on, use Volvo Aftersales Diagnostic and
Information System (VADIS) and symptom entry or Volvo System Tester (VST) to find the diagnostic trouble codes.
