Remove the cap nut from the extractor

Install the extractor bracket and nut

Remove the seal
-
Check that no seal residue is left.
Lubricate the edges of the new seal using automatic transmission fluid.
Install locating pin999 5769 Pilot See: Tools and Equipment/999 5769 Pilot.
Install the seal on the locating pin. Use drift 999 5771 Drift See: Tools and Equipment/999 5771 Drift.
Tap in the seal until the drift is against the transmission.
Remove the locating pin.
Install the drive shaft. See Replacing the front right drive shaft See: Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Drive Shaft Right, Replacing.
Check the oil level. See Oil level, checking See: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Service and Repair/Procedures/Oil Level, Checking.
