Fuel filler flap - r+r

Operation 7025C10 · Various flaps (exterior)

Removal

See Op. 7055A30 L/h or r/h side rubbing strip (one) - r+r (right side).

See Op. 7055B43 Rear supplementary wheel arch (one) - r+r (right side).

1 Unscrew the nuts.

2 Disconnect the retainer.

3 Temporarily remove the fuel filler cap.

4 Remove the flap and refit the fuel filler cap.

1 If necessary, undo the bolts 1a and remove the flap striker 1b.

Refitting

Check that the flap is undamaged.

If removed, fit the flap striker and tighten the bolts.

1 Temporarily remove the fuel filler cap.

2 Fit the flap and refit the fuel filler cap.

3 Tighten the nuts and adjust the flap position to align it with the bodywork. The arrows indicate possible movements.

4 Tighten the nuts.

Nut M6 – Fuel flap: 0.8 daNm

5 Connect the retainer.

See Op. 7055A30 L/h or r/h side rubbing strip (one) - r+r (right side).

Check that the door opens and shuts properly.
