D35 Low engine low pressure

The warning light indicates a decrease in pressure in the engine lubrication circuit.

Step	Test procedure	Result	Action
0	PRELIMINARY CHECKS Check that the engine oil level is correct Check the condition of the oil sump and ensure there are no external macroscopic leaks	OK	Move onto step 1

1	CHECKING OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT SENSOR Check the sending unit and wiring are working properly	OK	Move onto step 2

2	CHECKING LUBRICATION SYSTEM PRESSURE Check the pressure of the lubrication system Op. 0510C20	OK	Move onto step 3
2		Pressure low	With the oil sump removed, check the pressuer limiter valve. If OK, check the oil pump. If the pump is also OK, carry on to Move onto step 3
3	CHECKING LUBRICATION SYSTEM Verify: seal of crankshaft channel plugs main bearing/connecting rod bearing clearance	OK	Incorrect selection of diagnostic procedure
