  1. Remove the special tool from the exhaust camshaft procket.
    2. Exhaust camshaft procket with special tool F1

  2. Install the right side bush carrier for the VCT.

  3. Install the three bolts that attach the right side bush carrier for the VCT to the engine. Torque the three bolts 21 Nm.

  4. Use the applicable equipment to lift the vehicle and make it safe.
  5. Remove the two socket cap screws that attach the special tool to the engine.

  6. Remove the special tool from the flywheel.

  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Remove the three screws that attach the special tool to the left cylinder head.

  9. Remove the special tool from the left cylinder head.
