FRONT SEAT BACKREST ADJUSTMENT HARDENING

Detachment and release of backrest adjustment knob

1	CHECK ON CONFORMITY OF RETAINING ELEMENTS	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
		Test results
	Check the conformity of the retaining elements on the inside of the knob	Move on to Step 2	Retaining elements damaged	Replace the knob Op. 7045A24 FRONT SEAT BACKREST ANGLE ADJUSTMENT KNOB (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.
2	CHECK ON CONFORMITY OF RETAINING ELEMENTS	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	3 door version; Check the conformity of the retaining elements for the anti-reversibility device on which the knob is fitted	Move on to Step 3	Retaining elements damaged	Replace the anti-reversibility device complete with rod
2	CHECK ON CONFORMITY OF RETAINING ELEMENTS	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	5 door version; Check the conformity of the retaining elements for the anti-reversibility device on which the knob is fitted	Move on to Step 3	Retaining elements damaged	Replace the anti-reversibility device
3	CHECK ON JOINT CONNECTING ROD	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	3 door version; Check for the presence of the sealing washer on the joint connecting rod (the side opposite the knob) by loosening the side cover.	Move on to Step 4	Washer missing (clamps) or incorrectly positioned	Position the washer correctly
3	JOINT CONNECTING ROD CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	5 door version; Check for the presence of the sealing washer on the joint connecting rod (the side opposite the knob and the side of the knob) by loosening the side cover.	Move on to Step 4	Washer missing (clamps) or incorrectly positioned	Position the washer correctly
4	CORRECT OPERATION CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check that the fault is no longer present	End of diagnosis	The fault persists	Replace the backrest assembly Op. 7045A18 FRONT SEAT BACKREST ASSEMBLY (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.
