Refitting

1. Adjust tensioning tool until belt tensioner is as taut as possible. Then tighten tensioner nut.

2. Remove dial gauge, then tighten camshaft drive pulleys to a torque of 11.5 daNm. Use tool 1860885000 fitted to mount 1860831001 as a reaction tool.

3. Remove tools 1860874000 for adjusting camshaft timing. Remove flywheel retainer and turn crankshaft through two turns in its direction of rotation. Loosen tensioner retaining nut and adjust belt tensioner nut to move pointer (1) until it is aligned with pointer (2). Then tighten belt tensioner nut to a torque of 2.3 daNm.

Refitting

As a further check, refit the gauge, measure t.d.c. and check that tools 1860874000 fit onto the timing shaft. Then refit shaft covers and parts removed previously.
