Electric front windows (page 3 of 4)

The left front electric window is not working

1. Check for voltage at one of the R cable for the electric windows protective fuse 72

• Not OK → Restore the continuity of the R coloured cable between the fuse 72 and the electric windows relay 91
• OK

2. Check for voltage at the R coloured cable for the connector 36

• Not OK → Restore the continuity of the R coloured cable between the fuse 72 and the ultrasound welding towards the connectors 35 and 36
• OK

3. Alternately bridge the N coloured cables at control panels 75 and 73 with an earth

• OK → Restore continuity for the N coloured cables between the control panels 75 & 73 and the earth on dash 22

4. Bridge the R/BG and ZG/N coloured cables at the left electric windows control panel 73 (with the connector for the control panel disconnected from its housing)

• OK → Overhaul or replace the left electric window control panel 73
• Not OK

5. Bridge the R/ZG and BG/N coloured cables at the left electric window control panel 73 (with the connector for the control panel disconnected from its housing)

• OK → Overhaul or replace the left electric window control panel 73
• Not OK
