  1. Withdraw the ignition key block.

Removing-refitting ignition key

  1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery and carry out operation 3 on page 37. Disconnect the wiring connections from the ignition switch.
  2. Undo the shear bolts (arrowed).

These bolts must be renewed during assembly.

  1. Remove the switch from the car.

  1. Carry out operation 2. Disengage the block from the car as shown in the figure.
