INSTRUMENT LIGHTING - DESCRIPTION
Description
All the instruments (dials and gauges) are lit up with the ignition switched ON.
All the instrument panel LEDs are always lit up at the same brightness.
The LEDs for lighting the instrument scales are activated when the side lights on message is received from the body computer.
The car is equipped with numerous light sources for optimal lighting of interior instruments and controls.
All instruments and controls (faces and guages) are lit up with key ON.
The instrument panel leds are kept permanently on at the same brightness level.
On versions with the COMFORT panel only, the brightness of the instrument scale and graph leds may be adjusted when the side lights are turned on.
Eight brightness levels are offered on the COMFORT panel version, from 30% to 100% of maxmum brightness.
Once the required brightness has been set, this is stored and then reused.
The brightness level may be adjusted by means of two “MODE + ” and “MODE – “ keys located to the right of the instrument panel near the windscreen wash/wipe stalk only when the instrument panel is on the standard screen and the side lights are on.
On versions with a COMFORT panel, when a fault message is displayed (apart from "ice danger), the display brightness is automatically set to maximum (daytime setting) even when the side lights are on.
The brightness level is fixed on MODALE and STRIP panels.
