HEATING FLANGE FOR COLD STARTING - R.R.

Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.1. Open the retaining band (1a), unscrew bolts (1b) and remove the air sleeve (1c) with cold air intake.2. Open the retaining band (2a) and disconnect air sleeve (2b).3. Undo the fixing bolts (3a) and move the pipe mounting bracket (3b) aside.

1. Undo the fixing nuts (1a) and disconnect the electrical connections (1b).

2. Undo the retaining nuts.

1. Remove the heat-flange fitting (1a), gasket (1b), heat-flange heater (1c) and the remaining gasket (1d).

Refitting

- Fit the gasket in the housing.- Fit the heat flange heater in its seat.- Fit the remaining gasket in the housing.- Fit the heat-flange fitting in the housing and tighten the nuts.- Connect the electrical connections to the heater and tighten the nuts.

- Connect the air sleeve to the heat-flange fitting and renew the retaining collar.- Connect the pipe and bracket to their seat and tighten the retaining bolt.- Fit the air sleeve with cold air intake in its seat, renew the retaining collar and tighten the cold air intake bolts to the beam.- Connect the negative battery terminal.
