POWER ASSISTED STEERING FLUID - REPLACE

Operation 0010T70 · VEHICLE OIL AND FLUIDS

- Position the vehicle on the lift.

- Draw off the oil in the reservoir using a syringe and collect it in a suitable container.

Never disperse used oil into the atmosphere; follow the instructions for the disposal of chemical products and used oil.

1. Disconnect the band from the pipe illustrated because it is the lowest point of the power assisted steering system.

- Position a suitable container under the pipe for collecting the fluid that comes out.

Never disperse used oil into the atmosphere; follow the instructions for the disposal of chemical products and used oil.

- Reconnect the pipe disconnected previously.

- Lower the vehicle and refill the power assisted steering system using the appropriate fluid.

The power assisted steering system is self-bleeding; this is done by steering completely to the right and the left with the engine running and the vehicle stationary.
