PASSENGER COMPARTMENT WATER PENETRATION, FRONT AREA

After rain or washing, water infiltration into the front part of the passenger compartment is noticed.

1	CHECK ABSENCE OF WINDSCREEN INFILTRATIONS	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
		Test results
	Check for sealant on the windscreen, see See Test 7035OA CHECK FOR ABSENCE OF FIXED WINDOW INFILTRATIONS (WINDSCREEN AND REAR SCREEN)	Move on to Step 2	Sealant missing.	Restore the sealant in accordance with
2	WINDSCREEN CHECK	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the windscreen. In particular, visually check: - glass condition; - flatness of contact surface; - flatness of screen-printing.	Move on to Step 3	Faults in windscreen	Replace the windscreen Op. 7035A18 WINDSCREEN GLASS - R.R INCLUDING CLEANING HOUSING
3	CHECK THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT BULKHEAD DRAINS	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the bulkhead drains in the engine compartment. In particular check for: for dirt, leaves etc.	Move on to Step 4	Dirt in the drains	Clean the drains. Restore the correct installation if necessary
4	CHECK THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT BULKHEAD	All OK	Problems encountered	Operation
	Check the engine compartment bulkhead. In particular, check: - the plugs are present; - the plugs are correctly fitted. - the bulkhead coupling rubber fittings are installed correctly; - sealant properly applied; - correct installation.	End of diagnosis	Faults in engine compartment bulkhead.	Restore the engine compartment bulkhead installation and fastenings.
