Belt winder-pretensioner assembly

• place the inner bracket in its seating on the pillar, fitting it on the retaining pin shown in the top picture;

• working from outside the central pillar, connect the arming bracket to the inner bracket, ensuring that the centring pin (3) is fitted correctly in the corresponding hole (4) (see illustration on previous page);
• tighten the bolts securing the outer arming bracket to the correct torque (bottom picture);

Do not use a percussion wrench.

• tighten the bolt securing the belt winder-pretensioner assembly to the pillar to the correct torque.

Do no use a percussion wrench.

• restore the initial seal on the belt winder/pretensioner assembly, by painting the areas concerned as appropriate as a guarantee of the correct fitting of the de-[vice];
• [o]mplete the refitting procedure by reversing the operations for removal.
