INJECTION PUMP

Removing

Position vehicle on lift, check that gearbox is in neutral and remove right front wheel.

Remove the injection pump by carrying out the following operations:

• turn the crankshaft and adjust Poly-V belt pulley retaining screw until crankshaft reference tool 1860863000 fits into its seat;
• unscrew retaining bolt and nut and remove upper timing belt guard (1);
• disconnect accelerator cable (2);
• disconnect TLA control cable (3);
• disconnect electrical connection (1);
• loosen fuel outlet fittings to injectors (2);
• loosen and remove pump inlet (3) and outlet (4);
• fit a M8x1.25x35 screw through each of the two reference holes on the injection pump pulley and hand tighten into hte threaded holes on the head;
