in order to obtain the polymerisation of the gasket it is necessary :
- to keep the gasket sealed in its nylon envelope
- to only remove the wrapping just before assembly
- not to lubricate or dirty the gasket with oil.

• Place the cylinder head on the crank case.
• Lubricate the screws and washers and let them drain for at least 30 minutes.

1. Screw the cylinder head screws to the correct torque following the sequence indicated in the figure

• Tighten the cylinder head screws again, following the sequence indicated in the figure, to the correct torque

2. Tighten the cylinder head screws again in two stages with an overall angular rotation of 180° using the tool

• Tighten the nuts securing the exhaust pipe to the manifold to the correct torque

• Complete with Op. 1032B14 TIMING BELT timing system control - R+R. to tune the timing phases or to replace in versions with air conditioner.
• Complete with Op. 1032D12 COVER (S) protecting the timing system control.
• Fit the tappet cover with the gasket.
• Tighten the tappet cover screws to the correct torque

• Connect the engine coolant temperature sender electrical connection

• Insert the absolute pressure sensor pipe .
• Connect the engine temperature sensor electrical connection

• Connect the single injector (SPI) electrical connection

• Connect the idle regulation actuator electrical connection

• Connect the intake air temperature sensor electrical connection

• Connect the throttle position sensor electrical connection
