(Cont. Op. 1004D10)

  • Lift the power unit with the hydraulic trestle.
  • Unscrew the gearcase guard screws.
  • Remove the guard.

  • Lower the power unit and place it on a pallet.
  • Unscrew the screws (1a) and the nut (1b) that join the gearbox to the engine.

  • Separate the gearbox from the engine.

Reassembly

  • Sling and support the power unit with a hydraulic trestle.
  • Join the gearbox to the engine.
  • Tighten the screws and nut that join gearbox and engine to the correct torque.
