Refitting

( Cont. Op. 1004B12)

1. Unscrew the power unit support screws on the gearbox side.

1. Unscrew the power unit support screws on the timing system side.

• Lower the power unit and rest it on the ground.
• Free the power unit from the sling.
• Raise the hoist completely.
• Sling the power unit again with the hydraulic trestle.
• Move the power unit to a pallet.
• Free the power unit from the sling.

Refitting

• Raise the hoist completely.
• Sling the power unit with a hydraulic trestle.
• Place the power unit on the ground again under the car.
• Free the power unit from the sling.
• Partially lower the car.
• Sling the power unit again with the hydraulic trestle.
• Raise the power unit and fit it in its housing in the engine compartment.
• Tighten the power unit support screw on the timing system side to correct torque

• Tighten the power unit support screws on the gearbox side to correct torque

• Free the power unit from the sling.
• Raise the vehicle.
• Tighten the power unit intermediate support screws to correct torque

• Connect the coolant pipe to the intake manifold.
• Connect the coolant pipes to the throttle case.
• Connect the fuel inlet and recirculation pipes to the throttle case.
• Connect the accelerator control flexible pipe to the throttle case.
• Complete with Op. 1068A10 ACCELERATOR PEDAL CONTROL - Check, adjustment if necessary and lubrication.
• Insert the ends of the gear engagement flexible pipes.
• Insert the gear engagement flexible pipe sheath clamps.
• Insert the vacuum intake pipe with the one-way valve on the brake servo.
• Refit the pipe connecting the conditioner compressor to the condenser in its seat.
• Connect the pipe to the conditioner compressor.
• Connect the piping to the condenser.
• Connect the evaporator piping to the conditioner compressor.
• Tighten the conditioner compressor fastening screws to correct torque
