Removal

  • Position the vehicle on a hoist.
  • Open the engine compartment.
  • Assemble the body protection covers.
  • Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  • Take out the hot air inlet sleeve to the thermo- static device from the exhaust manifold.
  • Follow Op. 1076B50 exhaust PIPE attachment to engine/manifold - R+R.
  1. Unscrew the nuts that fasten the exhaust mani- fold to the cylinder head.
  2. Remove exhaust manifold (2a), gasket (2b), hot air intake (2c) and engine support bracket (2d).
